Well, It's been
a great run but my time at Bad Dog Blues is unfortunately over.
It's been a fantastic experience spinning the blues for over a decade
and running the website since 1999. I want to thank everyone who
supported the show and the website for all these years. I've enjoyed
every minute of my time on the show and just want give a big thanks
to our incredibly loyal listeners and everyone who supported us;
the record labels, bands and clubs I've worked with over the years.
The Bad Dog Blues show will continue with Gary but the website will
no longer be updated after next week. It's been great working with
Gary and between the two of us I think we made a terrific team,
bringing our passion for the music to a wide audience. Gary brought
me on board over ten years ago and I'd like to think that I made
an already great show even better. Ever since joining I've worked
tirelessly to make the show, what I think, is one of the best blues
shows anywhere.
Without getting
into specific details I will say that the decision for leaving the
show was not mine. There were issues between myself and WITR and
I believe strongly, as does Gary, that I was forced out in a very
unprofessional and unfair manner. I was hoping to say my goodbyes
on air but I wasn't given the opportunity. Since I wasn't given
the courtesy of a final say I leave it to supporters of the show
to have their say. Please direct comments to those responsible:

On a positive
note I will be doing a new blues show on WGMC Jazz90.1 which will
air Sunday evenings from 5 to 7 immediately preceding Dave Moskal's
long running Muskie's Juke Joint. There is also a new website
in the works as welI. I will be sending out an email with more details
on the show so stayed tuned.
