What's New - August

  In our Special Features section we spotlight the great Chicago piano player Johnny Jones complete with discography and audio clips. In our Essential Blues department we review a recent club appearance by the one and only Bobby Rush. Also plenty of reviews including a couple of Muddy Waters Reissues and the latest by Gatemouth Brown. Plus the latest blues news, archived broadcasts and more. Also we are now putting up real audio clips of the records we review.

  We hope to put up a few more archives of the live show in the next couple of weeks. Remember if you happen to be online 12:00-3:00PM on Sunday you can catch the broadcast live.

  Bad Dog Blues is broadcast live from WITR based out of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. Bad Dog Blues airs live Sunday from 12:00PM-3:00PM with your hosts Gary Reinhard and Jeff Harris.

  Bad Dog Blues has been blasting the blues for the past ten years playing the best blues from the 20's through the 90's. We span the history of the blues bringing you everything from barrelhouse piano to searing electric blues. Along the way we'll tell you the stories and history behind the music.
