Year Of The Blues 2003: In recognition of the blues' ongoing impact on music and cultural history, both in America and around the world, on September 5, 2002, the United States Congress proclaimed the year 2003 as the “Year of the Blues” (YOTB). The Year of the Blues website aims to raise awareness of the blues, its unique American stories, and its influence in America and around the world.

Joseph A. Rosen Photography: Joseph A. Rosen is a photographer based in New York City whose photos have been applied to CD covers, inserts, magazine articles. In particular, his love of blues and Jazz music has created an archive of ../../images that amounts to more than four hundred performers many of which have been displayed in museums, music trade publications and on the walls of many collectors.

Shine On: Richard Trice and the Bull City Blues: The story of one man's journey through blues music to spiritual redemption. 82-year-old Richard Trice was the last survivor of the heyday of the blues in Durham, North Carolina in the 1930s. The film is both a celebration of the Piedmont blues and an intimate document of Trice's attempt to look back and give meaning to his life.

Triangle Music: Great source for blues recordings on the web including a good selection of imports.

Document Records: Record label with a massive catalog of classic blues, jazz and gospel. Includes links and other valuable music resources.

All Music Guide: Great online music database. Excellent blues section includes biographies, album reviews and artist discography's.

Blues World: Lots of blues links focusing on the serious blues collector.

The Blue Highway: If it's blues related and on the web you'll find it here. Links to artist sites, blues labels, blues radio and more.

Blues Bytes: Online blues magazine with excellent monthly reviews of the latest CD's.

The Red Hot Jazz Archive: History of Jazz up to 1930. If  you like the music of Louis Armstrong, King Oliver, Jelly Morton and others then this is the place for you.

12 Bar Muse: Excellent site with artist profiles, blues history and audio tracks

Sonny Boy's Lonesome Cabin: Comprehensive site devoted to Sonny Boy Williamson II.

Big Road Blues: Excellent blues site that includes articles, a blues forum, chat, reviews and blues lessons.

The Blues Foundation: Nice site from the people who organize the Handy Awards. Has listings of 1999 Handy nominees and Handy Festival lineup.

Blues On Stage: Popular site with plenty of reviews, photos, artist profiles and lots more. One of the most informative blues places on the web.

Delta Snake Daily News:The place for blues news on the web.

Offbeat Magazine: Great online  magazine about New Orleans. If you like the music of the crescent city this is the place to go.

The Blues Society Of Western NY: Promoting the blues in Western NY. They also publish Blues Beat Magazine.

Electric Blues: Sharp site with lots of CD ratings and reviews. Plus plenty of blues in real audio.

Big Tony: Lots of blues info divided into sections focusing on country blues, steel guitar, harmonica and much more.

The Delta Blues Museum: The Delta blues museum online.

Southwest Blues Magazine: Southwest blues magazine online. Includes blues reviews, band links and more.

Harry's Blues Lyrics Online: Excellent site that contains tons of blues lyrics indexed by artist, title and topic.

The Soul Of The Net: One of the few sites devoted to soul music on the net.

MuzikMan's Sound Script: Nice site with sections devoted to rock, blues, jazz and surf .

Mighty Sam McClain: The home of the Mighty one. One of the last of the truly great soul singers.

Fox Valley Blues Society: Winner of 1999's Keeping the Blues Alive Award for blues organization of the year. Excellent content with reviews, news and lots of local blues info.

RateItAll.com: RateItAll.com lets you share your opinions on Blues Artists (and lots of other things). 

Blues Boy Music: Includes the acclaimed Shack of Blues radio show plus the

Dona Oxford: Home of pianist Dona Oxford who fronts her own band and plays behind Shemekia Copeland.

Danny Brooks: Danny Brooks' sound embodies a hybrid blend of original music based in roots rock, blues, soul, country and gospel. He has two CD's out on his own HIS House label.
