Saunders Research: The Red Saunders Research
Foundation is dedicated to increasing our knowledge
of the musicians who filled the clubs and recording
studios of Chicago with great music during the two decades
after World War II. This is an incredibly detailed and
researched site with a list of members that include
many well known blues/jazz researchers. Among the sections
are features on forgotten artists like Tom Archia, The
Four Blazes, Jimmy Coe, The Dozier Boys, Oett "Sax"
Mallard and many others. There's also detailed record
label profiles of Chess, Aristocrat, Chance, JOB, Miracle,
Parrot and others.

Blues & Gospel Discography: This online
discography details all known issues on microgroove
