Year
Of The Blues 2003: In recognition of the
blues' ongoing impact on music and cultural history, both
in America and around the world, on September 5, 2002, the
United States Congress proclaimed the year 2003 as the “Year
of the Blues” (YOTB). The Year of the Blues website aims
to raise awareness of the blues, its unique American stories,
and its influence in America and around the world.
Joseph
A. Rosen Photography: Joseph A. Rosen is
a photographer based in New York City whose photos have
been applied to CD covers, inserts, magazine articles. In
particular, his love of blues and Jazz music has created
an archive of ../../images that amounts to more than four hundred
performers many of which have been displayed in museums,
music trade publications and on the walls of many collectors.
